Film From Seoul To Jakarta Receives 6 Nominations in France

From Seoul To Jakarta films by director Damien Dematra received six nominations at St.Tropez International Film Festival, France. Although not yet received showtimes in Indonesia, films result of collaboration of Indonesia, South Korea and the United States have successfully siphon public attention in France.

"Although less appreciated in their own country, but I am proud that this film can be recognized and appreciated as high by other developed countries," said Demian Dematra when found in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/04/2015).

The movie earned six nominations From Seoul To Jakarta starting from the category Best Female Role Maid, Leading Role Best Female, Best Male Leading Role, Best screenplay and Best Film.

"Two representatives of this film from the United States and South Korea has confirmed that it will attend the awards night, while on the Indonesian side is being pursued for the present," said Damien Dematra.

On May 14, 2015, the film From Seoul To Jakarta will also be shown at Westminster Nice, one of the most historic sites representing Southern French culture in the French Riviera.

"Many filmmakers, film buyers and distributors will follow the Cannes Film Festival have confirmed to attend the world premiere. So this is the right moment to introduce more Indonesian films to foreign countries," said Damien.

Earlier, the film From Seoul To Jakarta first awarded the Award of Merit in the category of Best Female Main actors for Natasha Dematra and Best Cinematography for Damien Dematra in Global Accolade Competition in California, USA.
